WWe know from practical experience that the realities of life can sometimes interfere with our best laid-out plans. In as much as we try to schedule our daily lives to the best of our abilities, unexpected events often upset our diaries, and frequently at the eleventh hour. In some cases this might mean you have to reschedule your appointments with us.

This page explains how we can help you book an alternative time should you have to reschedule. By following these guidelines you also help us manage our appointment schedule and to see all our clients as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Rescheduling your appointment

If you are required to reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible and preferably no later than eight hours in advance of your visit. This might give us an opportunity to see another client and might help us prepare in a timely fashion accordingly.

We consider your appointment 'rescheduled' when we receive your notice either by phone or by email.

Sequenced Cancellation Policy

Our practice dairy is governed by an appointment-driven agenda. In turn, this agenda is made public through this site's Appointment Booking functionalities, which was designed to provide an unbiased priority to any of our clients. When you schedule an appointment through our system, we will note your booking in advance of your selected date and time, and will prepare for the specific treatment you selected accordingly.

In return of our commitment and dedication to provide you with the best treatment experience possible, which may include the preparation of your treatment space; the design of your person-specific treatment programme, and making available to you the treatment time in our appointment calendar, we expect you to honour the time we invest in preparing for your treatment. Failing to do so will be considered in the following sequence:

First appointment cancellation

If you cancel an appointment for the first time, and provided you do so no later than eight hours in advance of your treatment, we will transfer any fees you may have paid in advance fully to the rescheduled visit.

If you were to use a valid Advaya Healing Gift Voucher or wished to have a current Discount Code applied to your treatment fees, these, too, will remain effective at your next visit.

Second appointment cancellation

If it becomes necessary for you to cancel or reschedule a same appointment for the second time, and provided you do so no later than eight hours in advance of your treatment, we may transfer any fees you may have paid in advance to your rescheduled visit. Our decision to either transfer these prepaid fees to your next visit or to consider these a non-transferable and non-refundable payment will be final.

If you were to use a valid Advaya Healing Gift Voucher or wished to have a current Discount Code applied to your treatment fees, these may either be honoured or dishonoured, depending on our decision to do so.

When you cancel your appointment, please mention your intended use of your prepaid fees, Gift Voucher, or Discount Code so that we can discuss with you if and how these can applied at your rescheduled visit.

Third appointment cancellation

If it becomes necessary for you to cancel the same appointment for the third time, even when you do so no later than eight hours in advance of your treatment, your prepaid fees will become non-transferable and non-refundable.

The value of your Gift Voucher and/or Discount Code will also void and be considered expired or invalid. Our decision to do so remains final.

If we consider it appropriate, necessary, or simply prudent to the protection of our practice's interests and those of our other clients, we may decide not to book any further appointments with you for a minimum period of ninety days (three months). Our decision to do so remains also final.

Failing to notify us of non-attendance

Although we understand that you may be pressured by your daily commitments, we do expect you to honor our commitments to serving your health-related need and ambitions nonetheless. As our therapists aim to support you to the best of their abilities, and to serve on your terms your health-related goals and ambitions, they also expect you to commit to yours similarly.

Failing to notify us of you inability to commit to your scheduled session, in advance of your appointment, signals to us that fail to see our commitments and sense of dedication to you.

Late arrivals

To ensure you receive full benefits of every treatment we aim to use your appointment time as efficient and effective as possible. Especially with Therapeutic Treatments some preparation is required. While some of this preparation can be done before your arrival, other steps can only be taken in your presence. We therefore take great care in how we plan and schedule your sessions.

We recommend you arrive at our practice at least ten or fifteen minutes before your appointment time. This allows you to transition gently from what might have been a busy day to the calm and quiet of our practice. Being on time allows you to take a few moments to relax and to prepare yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally for your treatment.
