Thai Oil Massage

Nuad Bo’Rarn

Therapeutic or medicinal Thai massage is referred to as Nuad Bo’Rarn. The word Bo’Rarn is derived from the Sanskrit word Purana, which is the name given to certain ancient, sacred works. The name implies that the knowledge upon which these healing practices are based were handed down over time from generation to generation.

Because Nuad is often translated as “massage” and Bo’Rarn as “ancient” or “antique”, the term Nuad Bo’Rarn is said to mean “ancient massage” or “ancient healing way”.

We Practice with Transparency, Openness, and Integrity

Your relationship with Advaya should always be based on trust and confidence. We will therefore continuously design and deliver unique treatments that remain completely meaningful to your health and well-being..

Trust & Confidence

True healing only occurs when bodywork treatments improve your entire being. We will always work closely with you to ensure that each healing intervention delivers the most optimal benefits.

You must always feel confident about the ways by which we design and deliver your treatments. This requires a relationship between you and your therapist that is solidly founded in trust and confidence. In all we do, we practice with transparency, openness, and integrity. We respect your sovereignty, your treatment preferences, and your right of choice over the ways by which we work with you.

Each time you visit Advaya you should feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for. We honor your physical, emotional, and spiritual individuality, and remain sincerely committed to assisting you on your unique healing journey.

We continue to work with you when your self-healing journey becomes overwhelmingly lonely, challenging, or daunting. We continuously aim to maintain treatment spaces for you in which you can safely and gracefully work with the emotions that are likely to rise on your healing journey.

At the end of each session we help you return to a more authentic you. We help you slowly reconnect with the calming flows of natural energies that surround all of us, and foster ongoing healing.

Delivering Unique Treatments

We believe that each treatment must be designed to addresses your health-related concerns effectively and efficiently. We therefore develop tailored treatment programs that specifically consider your unique condition, preferences, limitations, and circumstances.

Even though you might feel familiar with the healing services we provide you may still find that our healing approaches, techniques, and methods differ from those you might be used to. As therapists we were trained classically and traditionally, typically in the country of the modality’s origin. We augmented these experiences with additional studies in relevant clinical fields.

Your unique healing therapy plan will always be founded on our deep understanding of the complex mechanics of our anatomical, physiological, and energetic presence, and on abilities to translate this knowledge into interventions that are most effective and meaningful to you.

Throughout each session we remain fully present in each breath we take and aim to work consciously, mindfully, and fully attuned to your presence.

In this state, we remain acutely aware, perceptive, and sensitive to the subtle shifts that occur in your physique, mental state, and energies. These can then be interpreted as your body’s instructions for how and where it wants to be treated next.
