Bodywork Therapy Podcasts

We contribute to bodywork therapy podcasts. By adding original content about our work with trauma, anxiety, depression, menopause, and gender-related topics we can help you build your audiences. Contact us if you are a serious, reputable, and professional content creator…

Key points
  • We work regularly with well-known podcasters and content creators to publish media on a broad range of health-related topics.
  • Our contributions are original and typically based on our therapeutic work with trauma-challenged clients.
  • Because of our training in Eastern and Western therapeutic disciplines and modalities we approach topics from soma-somatic, pyscho-somatic, and energetic perspectives.

It’s nothing but a privilege for us to be invited by reputable podcasters to appear on their broadcasts as guest speakers. There is something magical about interacting with skilled and entertaining interviewers, especially when our passions for health, wellbeing, and everything bodywork seem aligned. It is fabulous to support those remarkable content creators in their efforts to grow their audiences.

We can help you create meaningful content

The work we do is commonly referred to as bodywork or manual, physical therapy. What can be a little misleading about these words is that our treatments focus on resetting our client’s neurology to allow them to function better physically, mentally, and emotionally. In practice, we are just as concerned about our client’s physical state as we are about their inner worlds.

Originally (partly) trained in Asia we learned firsthand how and why oriental schools of medicine see our body, mind, and spirit as three intrinsically and inseparable elements of our being. By blending what essentially are Western medical bodywork modalities with Eastern theories on healing we designed and delivered therapies that have proved to be safe, comfortable, and effective since 2017.

Over the last three decades research mounted significantly to further explore how our body and mind are connected. Authors such as Bessel Van Der Kolk (The Body Keeps the Score), Peter Levine PhD (In an Unspoken Voice: How the Body Releases Trauma and Restores Goodness and Healing Trauma: Restoring the Wisdom of Your Body) and António Damásio (Feeling & Knowing: Making Minds Conscious) popularised the principles of our work over the last two decades.

Bodywork, Healing, and Self-Development

Can bodywork and/or psychosomatic therapies help you in your healing and self-development? Based on our own practical experience, the answer is a definite ‘yes’. We are living in exciting times, where clients are coming to recognise that therapy is no longer about remediation but also about the strengthening of self. Bodywork specifically is no longer considered something one needs to merely address physical issues but as an invaluable element of a well-balanced and proactive self-care programme.

Many of our clients who face trauma-related dysfunction work with us to become more independent from antidepressants and painkillers. We continue to work closely with their medical care providers to gradually reduce and even eliminate their prescriptions. When needed, help them establish a self-care programme that often includes

We spoke about the following healing-related topics during previous interviews –

  • The meaning of Healing – debunking myths and misperceptions.
  • Spiritual bypassing – the dangerous antithesis to true self-development.

  • Intuitive versus Evidence-based Healing – the pros, cons, and the unknowns.

  • Being Good versus Feeling Good – understanding your healing goals and objectives.

  • The Seven Steps of Bodywork Healing – an indicative roadmap.
  • Anxiety and depression – how bodywork can unlock ease and resolution.

Your Physical Relationship with Trauma

We all experience trauma during our life. However, while trauma is an integral part of living we experience it in different ways. Despite the significant advances we have made in researching how we process trauma, many of our questions remain still unanswered.

The trauma-challenged clients we worked with over the years also reported heightened anxiety and depression. The effects of unresolved causes for anxiety and depression can also amplify during menopausal years.

We have been privileged to work with countless clients who sought to understand how their trauma impeded the achievement of their aspirations. We continue to work with many of them to help them overcome the negative effects of their experiences. We can enrich the content of your podcasts by speaking first-hand of our trauma-related findings, and how bodywork can possibly help your audiences to progress and even accelerate self-development.

We spoke about the following trauma-related topics during previous interviews –

  • Bodywork and unresolved, body-held trauma – does it work?

  • Being a male therapist for sexually-abused female clients – constructive or confrontive?

  • Self-healing and overcoming trauma – suggested approaches.

  • Drinking Tea with Your Demons – an Eastern approach to trauma recovery.

  • Healing, and the importance of Safety – ways to create it.

The Female Dimension

Approximately 85% of our clients are female – a percentage that has been reasonably static since 2019. There are many reasons for this to be so. Following years of practice, study, and maintaining close collaborations with experts on women’s health we successfully developed a series of female-focused bodywork treatments that have proven to make differences to those entering, experiencing, and exiting their peak menopausal phases.

We spoke about the following female-related topics during previous interviews –

  • Disassociation from body – do women suffer more than males?

  • Beyond 50 – the loss of attractiveness?

  • Physical fitness and mental health – but what about our emotions?

  • Feminity, attractiveness, and self-agency
  • Jing Energies – the female powerhouse?

  • Female energies and trauma – the role, abilities, and limitations of a male bodywork therapist.

  • Menopause – bodywork and the alleviation of anxiety and depression.

The Male Dimension

As the world seems to reorganise itself continuously around gender, the definitions of what it means to be a ‘healthy’ male are constantly redefined. Today, males seem to struggle with what’s expected from them to develop and maintain constructive enduring relationships with others, without having to compromise their authenticity.

Our contributions to male-topical podcasts are largely informed by two decades of designing and facilitating deep-probing Men’s Circles in Australia and New Zealand. Mondi Den Otter, or principal therapist, has crossed multiple Rites of Passages and guided numerous circles over the years.

He is currently active in several men-focused projects that explore the physical, emotional, energetic, and spiritual aspects of masculinity.

We spoke about the following male-related topics during previous interviews –

  • Warrior, King, or Nothing – revolution or evolution?
  • Reclaiming the Male Body
  • Raising balanced and healthy sons successfully – reframing fatherhood

  • Expressing Emotions and Feelings – cutting through our self-made noises.
  • The Beauty of Sex and Intimacy – normalising healthy attraction.

  • The Traumatised Hero – the relationships between male trauma, anxiety, depression, and vulnerability.
