Cancelling your bodywork appointment
Cancelling or rescheduling your bodywork treatments and somatic healing sessions with us is easy. However, some cancellation and rescheduling rules apply, of which you should be aware when you book your treatments with us. This page explains how we intend to manage your change of treatment plans.
Everything we do at Advaya Healing revolves around the treatment calendar our online booking system provides. This system allows you to book appointments on times and dates that are available to you and automatically closes the slots that have already been taken by other clients. Once your booking has been confirmed, other clients will be blocked from booking their appointments on the time and date you selected.
Unless you cancel or reschedule your appointment we assume you will be present on that time and date.

Three cancellation methods
You can cancel your existing bookings in three ways –
Option 1 – Booking system cancellation
We prefer you to cancel your appointments through our online booking system. This reduces our administrative work and ensures that your cancellation is processed on time. You also receive an automatic email from our booking system to confirm your cancellation.
Details on how to cancel your appointment through our booking system are provided in the confirmation email you received when you booked your appointment.
Option 2 – Email cancellation
Send us a cancellation request by email. Most clients respond simply to the email they received to confirm their booking, which includes the details of the booking you wish to cancel.
If you are unable to find this email use the form on our Contact Us page and state your name as well as the date and time of the appointment.
You will receive an email from us, confirming your cancellation.
Option 3 – Phone (SMS/Txt) Cancellation
We generally prefer you NOT to cancel your appointment by phone (SMS). However, use this method if you are unable to use our booking system or do not have access to email. You will find your therapist’s phone number in the confirmation email you received when you booked your appointment.
Include in your message your appointment’s reference number (included in your confirmation email) as well as the appointment’s date and time.

We are unfortunately required to impose some restrictions on the number of times you can cancel your bookings. Provided you cancel your booking no later than eight hours BEFORE your appointment, the following rules apply for THE SAME booking –
First cancellation instance

Third cancellation instance
If you cancel a rescheduled appointment for the third time, no later than eight hours before your appointment time we expect full payment for the cancelled booking, and irrespective whether you would like us to reschedule your appointment for the third time, or not. We may refuse you further treatments and may automatically cancel both your account and other bookings with us.
Lateness, and failing to arrive
Although we expect you to make sure you can arrive on time for your appointments we also understand that you can become delayed by factors you cannot necessarily control. When you expect to be delayed, please call us as soon as possible to inform us of your late arrival.
We will automatically invoice you for 50% of your booking’s value when you haven’t arrived at our practice within 10 minutes after the confirmed booking time.
Permanent Ban
You may be banned permanently from our booking system if we believe that your booking behaviours are not constructive to our other clients and/or our practice.
This will almost certainly happen when you disrespect this Cancellation Policy, and specifically when charges invoiced to you remain outstanding. When you are banned you may not use other credentials (such as name or email address) to either subscribe to our Membership or to book further treatments.
If you are booked by someone else and under a different name, we reserve the right to refuse you treatment.
