Will I remain covered during Internal Pelvic Health treatments?
Yes. During Internal Pelvic Health treatments at Advaya Healing Bodywork, you are always properly covered and draped so your privacy, dignity, and emotional safety are fully protected. At no point will your therapist see your vagina.
We use clinical, professional draping standards that expose only the area being treated and keep the rest of your body securely covered. Before any internal work begins, we explain exactly how draping will be arranged, what will remain covered, and how you can request adjustments at any time. You are encouraged to speak up the moment something doesn’t feel right – your comfort directs the entire session.
The treatment environment is calm, predictable, and grounded in trauma‑informed care. This means:
- Your body is never unnecessarily exposed
- You are never rushed
- You remain in control of pacing, positioning, and consent
- We check in regularly to ensure you feel safe, respected, and supported
Internal pelvic therapy is deeply sensitive work, and we treat it with the highest level of professionalism. Draping is not just a procedural step – it is part of the therapeutic container that allows your nervous system to relax, your boundaries to be honoured, and the treatment to remain firmly rooted in ethical, clinical practice.
Your privacy is protected at every moment, so you can focus on healing, not worrying about exposure.
